Summer Pay & Play Sessions

Our pay & play sessions are supervised rentals, no formal instruction is given. Participants will be limited to an area of the reservoir, and only suitable activities will be available, mainly Stand Up Paddleboarding and Sit on top Kayaking.

Our Pay & Play sessions take place every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday through the summer months.

Autumn Survival Skills Pay & Play Sessions

Try out our Survival skills Pay and Play over the colder months of the year. Activities include Archery, Axe throwing, and finished off with a hot chocolate and toasted marshmallow on the fire.

These sessions will be perfect for families/couples or people wanting to try something a bit different. If you have perfected your paddling on the water Pay and Play why not try some of our land activities.

(We don’t allow inflatables excluding SUP’s or Closed Cockpit Kayaks or Open Canoes)

Activities & Craft Available

  • Stand Up Paddle Board (no experience necessary)
  • Sit On Top Kayak (no experience necessary)
  • As the reservoir can be extremely warm during the summer months, you may choose to wear swimwear and old clothing rather than a wetsuit. All specialist kit such as buoyancy aids and helmets are provided as standard with wetsuits available on request.

Just a few things to remember:

Sessions are limited to a maximum of 20 people.

Please wash your hands and use the available sanitiser.

Changing rooms and showers will be available. Please be conscientious of the limited space.

Wetsuits will be available, but not required.
(Please be aware that the issuing of wetsuits, reduces time on the water).

If you are bringing your own SUP / Kayak, prewash instructions need to be followed.

Minimum age 8, children under 12 must be accompanied on the session by a parent / guardian.

Appropriate footwear is required such as old trainers, secure sandals or water shoes (no flip flops or crocs).
