Summer & Autumn Pay and Play
Fancy a paddle on our beautiful reservoir? Why not come to one of our Pay and Play sessions where you can hire a Stand Up Paddleboard or Sit on Top Kayak. Our Pay and Play sessions are supervised rentals, no formal instruction is given. You can also bring your own equipment on to our Pay and Play sessions. Please note, we do not allow inflatables (excluding Stand Up Paddleboards), closed Cockpit Kayaks or Open Canoes due to our supervisory ratio and rescue procedures.
Please note minimum age is 6 years old for our Water Pay and Play sessions. Children under 12 must be accompanied on the water by a parent/ guardian. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied on the same craft as their parent/ guardian. Just a few things to remember:
Sessions are limited to a maximum of 20 people.
Dogs are not allowed to participate in activities. If you would like to bring your dog, they must be kept on a lead.
Please wash your hands and use the available sanitiser.
Changing rooms and showers will be available. Please be conscientious of the limited space.
Wetsuits will be available, but not required.
(Please be aware that the issuing of wetsuits, reduces time on the water).
If you are bringing your own SUP / Kayak, prewash instructions need to be followed.
Appropriate footwear is required such as old trainers, secure sandals or water shoes (no flip flops or crocs).
