Anderton Centre takes things online for their first Virtual Open Day
The Anderton Centre has been waiting patiently since the Government announced the closure of all sports and activities facilities twelve months ago. As restrictions start to lift, CEO David Germain and his team have been planning an exciting virtual reopening to showcase all they have been doing behind the scenes in this time.
On Friday 2nd April, the Centre will host its inaugural Virtual Open Day, taking all that makes the Anderton Centre great, online! Facebook Live and YouTube will showcase the facilities and people who make the ‘Anderton Experience’ so enjoyable to a new and wider audience.
‘Digitizing our first Open Day post lockdown will allow for greater reach and build confidence with the viewers. We hope it will show how hard we have been working to make the Anderton Centre ready for their return in-line with Government guidance.’ David explained.
‘Of course, we want people back enjoying the water, using the equipment, and experiencing all that the Centre has to offer, but safety has, and will always come first. We have implemented new procedures and guidelines to ensure we are fully compliant with Government requirements.’
These procedures, guidelines and the updates made to the facilities will be showcased on the day in a number of live sessions including:
– Facility show around
– Question and answer sessions
– Demonstrations by the team
– Competitions and quizzes with Anderton Centre prizes to be won
