Welcome to the Lancashire Outdoor Activities Initiative (LOAI) – Anderton Centre 2024 Impact Report. This report highlights the significant achievements, challenges, and progress made over the past year as we continue our mission to inspire, educate, and empower individuals through outdoor learning and adventure.

As Lancashire’s leading outdoor education and activities provider, we have expanded our reach, engaged new communities, and strengthened our partnerships to create lasting impact. In 2024, we have worked with a diverse range of participants—from young people developing essential life skills to corporate teams enhancing leadership and collaboration, as well as individuals from marginalised communities experiencing the benefits of outdoor learning.

This report showcases the difference we’ve made, supported by key statistics, success stories, and reflections on how outdoor experiences shape lives. It also outlines our ongoing commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability as we look ahead to future opportunities.
