Outdoor Activity Adventure Clubs for 6-15-year-olds

Spend the holidays exploring the water and woodland with canoe trips and nature walks around the Rivington & Adlington area. Discover your adventurous side with exciting activities like Raft Building, Archery, and Abseiling.

We are passionate about the outdoors and its benefit to young people. As a Charity, we aim to introduce young people of all backgrounds to outdoor activities in a safe and exciting environment.  Located just off the M61, we are ideally placed for families living or working in Bolton, Chorley, Preston, Wigan and Blackburn.

On our Adventure Club children will take part in multi-outdoor activity days to suit the group and the weather on each day focusing on the environment and exploring nature whilst having fun. Activities include Bug Hunts, Low Ropes or Wild Den Building with an introduction to Archery, Canoeing and Tree Climbing.

Adventure club is now open for anyone age 6 – 15.

Groups will be separated on the day, allowing for appropriate age separation with more variety and opportunities to take part in adventurous activities.

Our adventure club runs from 09:30 – 16:00 (Please make sure drop-offs are done at 09:30 and pick-ups are done at 16:00)

Our multi outdoor activity days will still remain flexible depending on the groups ability and weather.
Activities may include land based activities such as high ropes, tree climb, crate stack, archery and bushcraft. water activities such as canoeing, raft building, sailing or stand up paddle boarding. Young people may also scale the local landmark Rivington Pike.

We aim to vary programs throughout the week, however, we cannot guarantee a specific activity on any day.
